In 2022, Fertri carried out this chapel greenhouse with a glass roof in the province of Girona, one of the areas with the strongest horticultural tradition in Catalonia and with privileged access to the markets of France and central Europe. The choice of glass as the cover material reflects the client’s commitment to maximum quality and durability, with an installation designed to operate for decades without the need to renew the cover.
The 10-metre-wide chapel is the greenhouse type with the greatest presence in the European intensive production market. Its gable geometry facilitates the runoff of rainwater and snow, and allows roof ventilation equipment to be installed on the ridge with highly efficient air renewal.
The project was carried out with direct road transport from Pontedeume and Fertri technical assistance throughout the entire assembly phase, including the installation of the climate control and irrigation systems.
