In 2022, Fertri completed this multi-tunnel warehouse installation in the Basque Country. The 8-metre-wide multi-tunnel typology per bay offers a modular and scalable solution for storing agricultural machinery, implements, supplies and harvests, especially designed for farms in northern Spain where high rainfall makes permanent cover essential.
The galvanised steel structure with high-strength plastic film cover is designed to withstand snow loads and the Atlantic winds common along the Cantabrian coast, with a ridge geometry that facilitates rapid rainwater drainage and prevents accumulation.
As it was a project in Spain, transport from Fertri’s manufacturing plant in Pontedeume (A Coruña) was carried out by road in a minimal timeframe, reducing logistics costs and facilitating on-site coordination.
