In 2022, Fertri carried out this 50,000 m² Gothic greenhouse complex in the state of Sinaloa, a global benchmark in tomato, pepper and cucumber production for export. The 10-metre-wide bays with a Gothic profile offer an excellent structural response to heavy rainfall and wind, while maximising the interior volume for efficient climate management.
The Gothic greenhouse is the most widely implemented typology in Mexico due to its balance between cost, resistance and agronomic performance. The three-layer plastic cover with anti-UV treatment guarantees optimal light transmission throughout the entire growing season.
The project was delivered turnkey with irrigation, fertigation and climate control systems, and Fertri’s technical team supervised commissioning and training of the client’s staff.
