In 2022, Fertri completed this 10-metre-wide Gothic greenhouse project in North Africa, continuing the company’s long-standing presence in the region. The Gothic typology, with its characteristic curved roof geometry, is especially suitable for the Mediterranean climates of North Africa, where wind resistance and interior temperature control are decisive factors for productivity.
Unlike the macro-tunnel, the Gothic greenhouse offers greater equipment possibilities: motorised roof ventilation, heating systems for the winter months and the option of installing thermal screens that help extend the growing season and improve energy efficiency.
The installation was fully designed, manufactured and assembled by Fertri, with materials shipped from A Coruña by sea and on-site technical assistance throughout the entire assembly process.
