Horticultural production
in eastern Spain.

In 2022, Fertri completed this 25,000 m² multi-tunnel installation in the province of Alicante, one of Spain’s most active horticultural areas. The structure, with 8-metre-wide bays, was designed to maximise vegetable production under cover, taking advantage of the favourable climatic conditions of eastern Spain.

The project includes a motorised roof ventilation system that enables precise management of the interior microclimate, essential during the months of highest solar radiation. The drip irrigation installation with automated fertigation guarantees exact dosing of water and nutrients at every stage of the crop.

Execution was carried out in close coordination with the client’s technical team, adapting the structural design to the plot’s topography and the specific requirements of the crop.
