Glass.
Maximum light and durability.
In 2022, Fertri installed this gable-roof chapel greenhouse with glass cover in Almería. The choice of glass as the cover material provides maximum natural light transmission to the crop and exceptional durability compared with conventional plastics, with no loss of optical properties over time.
With a width of 15 metres, this installation offers a spacious, open interior that facilitates both soil cultivation and the installation of benches or hydroponic growing systems. The gable-roof structure with metal trusses guarantees the strength required to safely support the weight of the glass.
The design incorporates a motorised roof ventilation system on the ridge, side ventilation and integrated climate control, providing precision in managing interior temperature and humidity.
