In 2022, Fertri carried out this 50,000 m² static greenhouse installation in the state of Michoacán, Mexico. The static model, with fixed roof ventilation, is specially designed for warm and humid climate zones where natural cooling is sufficient to maintain optimal growing conditions for most of the year.
The 10-metre-wide structure offers large open spaces that facilitate mechanisation and efficient crop management. The design was adapted to the specific topographic and climatic conditions of the region, with special attention to the wind loads characteristic of the area.
The project was delivered turnkey, including structure, plastic cover, drip irrigation system and full commissioning of the installation with training for the local team.
